Surgery

After work tomorrow I will be heading back to Wisconsin until Sunday! My dad is having a hip replacement and my father in law is the surgeon!! I am hoping that all goes well (and I know it all will as my dad is in very good hands!).  Michelle and Joe are both going to be there for the surgery and I will be joining around dinner time.  I am rather excited that all five of us will be there to celebrate the new hip.  I am also excited that I can spend a few extra days in Wisconsin to hang out with my parents, coffee with Aunt Jan, drinks with Jenny, lunch with my Mom and possibly seeing my mother in law (still need to call her!).  I also have the dreaded task of going to the DMV for a new license with a new last name – still getting use to Kroner!  J Michelle and I are also cooking Thanksgiving dinner this year, for the FIRST time, so we are looking over recipes to finalize our meal! I am relying on Michelle as she is the cook between the two of us but hopefully my baking skills can be put to use!  My goal for Saturday is to wake up early enough to get the newspaper for my dad and for those of you who don’t know that means getting up around 5:00AM; which is ridicules if you know Kevin and me – we sleep until about noon every Saturday!!

FANTASTIC! Thanks to our family and friends-- and 1 fabulous surgeon! Angela thanks again for making the trip, keeping me on track (you were gone only a couple of hours and I had mix up with dad's meds) and getting dad's newspaper -- 5 am is ridiculous!!
