Birthdays Galore

I have always loved having a birthday in December, it means Christmas is around the corner.  It's days after Thanksgiving but weeks before Christmas so it doesn't get tied into one birthday/Christmas celebration. Everyone is in the holiday spirit and ready to celebrate. December also means my brother Joe's birthday as well as our nephew Collin's and my father in law's. 

The weekend after Thanksgiving we celebrated Collin's first birthday with a party at his house. We had a great time and Collin did pretty good smashing his cake. We were not able to stick around for the gift opening as we had mine and my brothers celebration to get to. It was decided that this would be an adult only party and while I was a little anxious about leaving John I knew he was having more fun celebrating with Collin then being asked to behave at a French restaurant. 

John spent the first 45 minutes of the party playing in the kitchen area with Jackson. 

This coming weekend we will celebrate Kevin's Dad's birthday which I am sure will include a delicious dinner cooked by the birthday man!   

Last weekend ended with getting our Christmas tree!
