Twenty Months

Today John is twenty months. My baby boy is a toddler, navigating his world with a smile and inquisitive mind. 

Twenty tidbits about John... 

1. loves shoes... ALOT! 
2. is so fun to spend every day with. 
3. has such a sweet and funny personality. 
4. enjoys watching tv and “moobies” and asks first thing in the morning for one. 
5. likes playing with older kids, I think because he has a few older cousins. 
6. asks “what’s that” about 75 times a day
7. likes to kick balls, play golf and throw footballs
8. likes Thomas the Train, Elmo and Calliou, none of which we promoted. 
9. has started saying “no way!” 
10. and Murphy are good buds. 
11. easily joins groups, at the gym, library, mom and me class.  
12. eagerly helps me sweep and vacuum.
13. recently wants me to hold him all day or snuggle on the couch. 
14. is great about going to bed and taking naps. 
15. loves to read books! His favorites are Little Blue Truck and Llama Llama Red Pajama.     We read them about four times a day. 
16. knows what he wants and is getting good at communicating his wants/needs with us.
17. loves bath time. When we sing his bath time song he heads to the bathroom asap.
18. does the same for bed time and nap time when we sing his song. 
19. has many people who love him and he loves them. 
20. is my favorite buddy!
