Since the Holidays

Since the holidays we have been enjoying life at home and one day trip to visit family. John and I got advice from Papa Kroner on setting up a bird feeder. He gifted us with a feeder and food so John and I set it up on morning.

John has been patiently waiting for birds to come, eagles actually is what he's hoping for! I may need to discuss with Papa if our feeder is to close to the trunk of the tree as we have not seen a bird yet. Hopefully soon!

John and I drove to Nonna's (or as John now calls her, Noah) work for a visit. John was so well behaved and we had a great time visiting Nonna and catching up with a few of her co-workers. We ended this trip with a visit to Starbucks with Nonna and Papa, a favorite stop of ours.

Kevin and I each read John two or three stories aloud before bed. Recently John has asked that we still read "our" books aloud and he reads his. Sometimes he "reads" his aloud and other times he is quiet about it until he's finished then he calls out "The End!"
Last Saturday Kevin took John out to play in the snow. They had a great time and John was thrilled to have some time with just Daddy.
Kevin taught John how to make snow angels only John decided that they were snow monsters! He loves making his snow monsters and wants you to make them too.

John and I are headed to Naples to visit Nonna and Papa in February so we made a trip to the store to pick up a new pair of sunglasses. We ended up needing a pair marketed for 4-8 year olds; my baby has a good size head. ;)

Three pictures of John from the first week of January in 2014 (8 months), 2015 (20 months) and 2016 (32 months).
