Courtney, one of my best friends from first grade, made the trip from San Diego to East Lansing last week Sunday for a few days. First thank you so much for flying to see Kevin and me - it was such a great few days! Plus we got to visit Amanda, another friend from first grade, in Royal Oak; the only person missing was Jenny (and you were missed!). Sunday Courtney, Kevin and me hung out at home and caught up plus Kevin grilled a great meal for us. Monday Courtney and I took the elementary kids, at my school, to the zoo (all I can say is thank you for coming, it was an interesting trip...) Monday night we headed to Royal Oak for the night. We went out in downtown Detroit (which I too was surprised that not every building was boarded up). Overall it was an awesome few days and I am hoping to get back down to Royal Oak soon!
Yay, I made the blog:) Thank you for a wonderful visit! It was so great to see you and Kevin and to finally meet Murphy (she is so adorable)! I'm so happy we were also able to see Amanda and loved our girl time together (wish Jenny could have been there, too)! I miss you already!
