When I moved to Michigan four years ago I knew my chances of teaching first grade again were slim but was okay with putting teaching on hold to give up a long distance relationship. In Michigan, I got to work a few great jobs, try some new things and meet some great people. When we moved to Colorado, I knew finding a job for one year was going to be close to impossible unless I kept the fact that we were leaving in an year out of the interview which I hate doing. I figured finding a job as a nanny would be my best option. During my interview they seemed (and are) like a great family and I was excited to start, if offered the job. I was offered the position and soon found out that the kids grandfather is a recruiter for the Brewers!! This worked out great for us as Kevin and I were given tickets to the Brewer’s game on Monday! We had awesome seats, behind home-plate, thirty rows back. If only they could have pulled out a win. Today I went to the game with the kiddos - again great to see the Brewers but would have been better if the Rockies (who have a worse record than us) had not swept us...
So awesome that you got to see the Brewers in Colorado! Nice perk is right!
