What an awesome few days. My parents were in town from Wednesday evening until early afternoon today. We were BUSY!
Thursday:
Kevin worked so my parents and I headed to Horsetooth for a quick hike. Afterwards we spent some time at CSU Gardens and Old Town.
Friday:
My parents and I headed to the Air Force Academy in the morning, spent some time in Old Colorado Springs where we got to see a professional bike race and taste water from 20,000 years ago. We also went to a zoo in the mountains where we got to feed the animals
Saturday:
Happy Birthday Dad plus Kevin was able to join us! We spent time at the Peach Festival in Fort Collins, golfed nine holes and then headed to Loveland (the next town over) for a Corn Festival. He headed home for dinner and Rummy 500!
Sunday:
We spent the day at Rocky Mountain National Park as well as a steak dinner at Twin Owls, an old rustic building in the mountains.
