A Weekend of Firsts

Kevin and I took Murphy and John to the park on Saturday.  We decided it was the perfect day to introduce John to the grass. He was pretty indifferent about the whole scenario but pictures are below.

Kevin and I also took advantage of living near family and invited my parents to come visit with John while we went golfing at University Ridge. This was my first outing away from John that lasted more than thirty minutes. We had a great time golfing and John loved spending time with Nonna and Papa. Afterwards we all went out to dinner. It was a wonderful Saturday. Thanks for dinner and playing with John! 

Since we were on a roll of introducing John to new things we took John to Lake Mendota.  We introduced him to the sand and water. He didn't have much opinion on the sand but he let us know he was not happy about the lake!
