What a great weekend! John and I (Kevin when available) have been really taking advantage of being close to family and friends. This last weekend we headed up to Minnesota to visit Michelle, Scott, Cohen, Sean and Asher.
John and I left Friday early morning and took the drive slow. John had only one hard moment, otherwise was a wonderful driving partner. We got to Michelle and Scott’s around 1:30 and hung out until Cohen was ready to be picked up from school. Afterwards we hung out in there backyard while the kiddo’s played on the playscape. They have a wonderful playscape that kept the boys busy until dinner. Such a benefit of visiting Michelle; her cooking ability, YUM! We had a relaxing evening.
Saturday Cohen had two birthday parties, so while he was there we played games, had Dairy Queen and ran a few errands. In the evening we headed over to St. Peter’s, Sean’s school, for their festival. It was pretty cute. Saturday evening I had all four boys while Michelle and Scott had a dinner out. It was fun having the kids at night, they were so well behaved and sweet to each other.
Sunday I left early to get home for the Packer game. John was an amazing passenger!!! He slept the first two and a half hours, pulled over for lunch and then slept the rest of the way. We made it home in time for the Packer game... bummer they couldn’t pull it off for John’s first Packer game.
Great pics! John's first trip to Minneapolis! He sure has out on the miles! Love the packer pics---he's got such a great smile and those eyes melt my heart.
ReplyDeleteHe is getting so big! I need to see him again soon!
