Labor Day - Up North

We headed up north this Labor Day for a wonderful weekend and bonus Kevin got to come! We didn’t know if he was going to be able to come until Saturday morning so John and I drove up with my parents.  We headed down to Milwaukee Friday afternoon and made a detour to the Kroner's so we could visit his Grandma and Grandpa before heading up north.  

Saturday morning my Dad and I took a canoe ride around the lake and then John and I headed over to the Schleps for beach time. Kevin arrived in the late afternoon with Murphy who decided she would make her mark by deficating on the living room rug, agh! Once cleaned up we were able to resume the fun - grilling and rummy 500. Sunday Kevin and I headed to St. Germain golf course (our favorite); we had a super time and each scored the best of the season. After lunch out we met my parents and baby John at the cabin before we headed to the Schelps for our annual BBQ. Our trip ended with dinner at Skyview Monday night and our last coffee at Dancing Bear Tuesday morning. It was a great weekend away!
