We started the weekend at Miller Park with Joe and Jenna for a disappointing Brewers game; luckily we still had fun with great company and yummy food. Saturday we headed down to Hoyt Park in Wauwatosa for Charlotte’s third birthday. I had not been for a good twenty years and wow have they made some major improvements! John enjoyed himself so much that we actually ended up there again on Monday. After Charlotte’s birthday Jeanne and John took John William so Kevin and I could golf with my parents at Naga-Waukee. We all had a wonderful time, it turns out I have a favorite golf course in the area. The course played a bit slow so afterwards Kevin and I raced to Joe and Jenna’s to continue Charlotte’s third birthday celebration. We then went to my parents to spend the night. Father’s day continued to bring nothing but fun. We went to Starbucks and mass with my parents and then headed over to the Kroner’s for the day. It ended up being a gorgeous day so we took advantage of the weather and jumped on the boat. John hated his life jacket, which caused him to be a little unstable. Other than a bump on his lip from a tumble he loved the boat ride. We left after the Brewers game and headed to my Uncle Jim’s for an extended family barbecue.
It was one full and extremely fun weekend! We are grateful to have spent the day with extended family, especially our Dad’s on Fathers Day.
Looks like a fun weekend. Love John's "Hello Ladies" shirt. XO
ReplyDeleteMy comment was also going to involve the "Hello Ladies" shirt, I laughed so loudly when I saw that! He's getting so much hair! Along with his Uncle Joe!;) He always has the most adorable expressions.
