Fall Fun

Today was all about Halloween and fall which included costumes, crafts, and cups!

John and I met Chelsea and Rose near their house for some fun picking out pumpkins and taking pictures in costumes. The kids were nothing but adorable in their costume and enjoyed looking at the pumpkins but mostly sharing sticks and leaves found on the ground.

Afterwards we headed to a local bakery for donuts and then to the library to warm up and play. It was such a great morning and just the start of Halloween fun!

After John woke up from his nap him and I made a Halloween craft. John’s part included  allowing me to paint the bottom of his foot and then wait patiently for his turn again while I turned each foot into a bat. Luckily Jake (from Jake and the Never Land Pirates) was around to distract him which made John very happy.

Our night ended with a pre bedtime trip to Barnes and Noble. Kevin and I picked up lattes and John found a Halloween cup that we couldn’t pass up. Just before bed we let him drink from it and actually did great.

Just before I took this picture Rose decided to climb into my lap for a story. When John saw that he grabbed a book and headed to Chelsea's lap... too cute!

When we saw the Wells Fargo pony we just had to get a picture to send to Nonna!

  2. PS -- Those two are so cute together... hanging out as friends, doing cool stuff with their moms! All the pics are adorable, but the expression that John is giving Rose as they are sitting in their chairs is priceless!
