God Bless Theo

We had such a great weekend in Minnesota to celebrate Theo’s baptism. We also had the pleasure of cheering Cohen and his team to a soccer victory.

John and I drove to Minnesota with my parents. It was a little chaotic with a forgotten wallet, forgotten suitcase, missing crib sheet and toothbrush and “lost” reservation all with getting into Minneapolis around midnight. The chaos did not end there when John decide that jumping on the hotel bed was more fun than sleeping in the crib.

Once Saturday came all was forgotten and we were happily cheering Cohen and his team on with cups of coffee and the sun shining! It was the perfect Saturday fall like day. John loved running with his Papa, Uncle Joe and playing with his cousins as well. We headed to Michelle and Scott’s afterwards before getting ready for Theo’s big day.

All six boys did great during church, it helped that three of the six slept through most of mass. ;) Afterwards we had a private baptism which was really intimate and nice. We then headed back to Michelle’s for a delicious dinner!! Sunday morning we went back to their house for a wonderful spur of the moment breakfast before our trip back home. John did really well on the drive home. I think all the playing with his cousins tired him out. :) It was such a special weekend spent with family!
