Kevin, John and I spent this last week at Disney World! While the weather was a bit on the cool side but so much warmer than Wisconsin weather we had a blast. We were not sure what John would think of Disney with the characters, crowds and rides however he loved everything Disney! So much so that our first day back home John found his two Disney t-shirts in the dirty laundry pile and insisted on taking his white t-shirt off and replacing it with both Disney shirts. We all walked away with smiles and wonderful memories and plenty of Disney trinkets to keep the Disney magic in our home for the coming days.
Magic Kingdom:
Our first day at the parks was to Magic Kingdom; my new favorite park since seeing John's excitement. John loved the rides and by the end of the day called them "my rides" while waiting in line. His first Disney ride was Mad Tea Party Tea Cups. He also took a spin on Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, it's a small world, Jungle Cruise, the Magic Carpets of Aladdin, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh and Prince Charming Regal Carrousel.

Epcot:
We spent the next day at Epcot. Epcot does not have many toddler friendly rides which gave us time to do meet and greets with characters.
Minnie has always been my favorite Disney character so I was very pleased when John took a liking to her as well insisting on holding her hand and giving her a kiss on her nose to say good bye.
Epcot has several Finding Nemo themed aquariums making John very happy to have freedom outside of his stroller walking from window to window saying hello and good bye to fish, dolphins and string rays.
We spent the afternoon in the World Showcase and before we started our tour we stopped in America (oh so adventures of us) for lunch. John and I headed to the bathroom while Kevin grabbed our food and found a table. All the tables looked like the one pictured below so I was very much surprised when I found Kevin sitting at a table covered in white linen, fake flowers, and ceramic plates rather than the typical paper plates other patrons were using. Apparently Kevin was randomly selected for a "Magical Moment."
Our Magical Moment included free American inspired dessert which made John and I very happy!
My parents joined us Thursday afternoon and took John to Hollywood Studios while Kevin and I attempted the unofficial Disney beer tour. We headed to Canada Le Cellier Steakhouse for an early Valentine's dinner and ended the night with IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth light show.
Kevin and I spent Friday at Universal Studio while John spent the day with Nonna and Papa at Magic Kingdom and downtown Disney.
John, Nonna and Papa met a few princesses, Winnie the Pooh and Tiger as well as watched the parade and went on several rides. He also played at the Lego Store in downtown Disney. The three of them had a wonderful time while Kevin and I also had a wonderful time riding Marvel and Despicable Me themed roller coasters, visiting Simpson-land and visiting Harry Potter world.
No trip to Harry Potter world would be complete without butter beer. We also picked up a chocolate frog but held off on a wand. ;)
Our last day at Disney was only half a day so we toured a few resorts and ate at a restaurant at the Fort Wilderness resort.
While at breakfast each table had an option of flipping a coster to play or watch... we were not given any more information then that but we still decided to take a chance and play. While eating Kevin grabbed ketchup from an empty table near by when our hilarious waiter called him out on it and put him in jail but not before he announced to the restaurant Kevin's misdoing.
Kevin's Mom picked the three of us up from the airport on Saturday. We spent the night at their house celebrating Joe and Jenna's birthday as well as Valentine's Day.
Saturday night, Kevin read John a Winnie the Pooh bedtime story while John tucked Pooh in and then John decided to read the story to Pooh. This is one of John's first interactions with a stuffed animal since Murphy steals them all and it was nothing but adorable.
Had a blast... lots of wonderful memories...thank you Kevin and Angela for sharing your vacation with us. Love Nonna and Papa
