Celebrations and Carnivals

We celebrated Kevin's birthday with his side of the family this past weekend. We went to Stone Fire Pizza, it was great for the kids. Kevin and I took John around to several different games and he enjoyed them all! John tried several times to win a minion from the claw game with no such luck so Kevin decided to give it a try and won on his first try! Out of sheer luck I won the jack pot on one game! We thought we were going to win John the biggest stuffed animal in the building until we got to the prize room and realized it would barely get us anything. John didn't care though he was thrilled with the four mini dinosaurs and two hot wheels we were able to get. 

On Sunday Kevin, Jeanne and I went to St. Jude for mass and attended their WinterFest. John loved the inflatable jump houses. We also played a few games; which was great. The elementary students working were so kind to John as were all the people we met. At one point we lost John's baby blanket and the principal had a group of middle schoolers on the hunt until it was found. 

John and I went to the library today and recreated a similar picture taken from February 13, 2013.
