Mom and John Fly South

John and I recently returned home from Florida. We were there for just over a week; we had wonderful weather and filled our days with much fun. Jeanne took us to the airport (thank you!) on Tuesday and picked us up the following Wednesday. John was amazing on the flight. He has been on many flights so I was assuming he would do just as well this time as all the others and he did not disappoint. Even the people sitting around us commented on how well behaved he was which was nice to hear as it is a bit of an unknown when you don't know how your two year old is going to act.

Nonna and Papa picked us up at the FL airport. John was thrilled to get off the plane and ready to hand out the hugs.

Wednesday just like many mornings we woke up and made a trip to Starbucks with all or some of the group. John and I then headed to the Naples Zoo where we rode Toby the camel as well as watched two tigers fight so roughly they had one child in the crowd in tears.
Friday my Mom had the day off so we took John biking. Unfortunately because John is use to riding in a seat in the front of my bike the trailer he rode in, attached to the back of my bike, had him a little nervous. We still managed an hour and a half bike ride before we decided the park and beach were waiting for us.

Mom, Dad, John and I then took a trip north to Disney World. We spent a day in downtown Disney and the next day at Magic Kingdom. It was really fun to be back at Disney and John had such a great time! His number one request was to meet Buzz Lightyear which we were first in line! We also got to meet Mickey Mouse (John's favorite original character), Woody and Jessie. Last year while Kevin and I did not see any parade's my parents said that John loved the parades and shows so we made sure we saw both and they were spot on - John loved the parade!! We also went on several rides and made sure to eat Mickey Mouse shaped ice cream before heading home.

Before we headed home John and I spent some time at the Naples Pier. We almost made it to the end before John got a bit anxious and asked to turn around. We ended that particular day with a trip to the library, park and a European bakery. He had such a wonderful trip and are already looking forward to our trip next year!
