Parfrey's Glen and Ferry Rides

Kevin took off for John's birthday and I'm so glad he did! We had beautiful weather for a day outside. We took John to Parfrey's Glen Natural Area just outside of Devil's Lake State Park in Merrimac for a hike. Before we arrived though we stopped at Devil's Lake Resort to grab lunch at the golf course clubhouse. We ate outside and while eating John played on the putting practice area. A nice man even gave John a golf ball to use which made John very happy! We also took a free ferry across the Wisconsin River and then headed to Parfrey's Glen. John did an amazing job hiking. We are all looking forward to our next one!
