Labor Day

After much discussion of what to do for Labor Day Kevin and I decided to make the LONG trip up north! We left Friday night around 5:30pm… 530 miles and ten hours later we were at the lake house and actually NOT the last ones to arrive (Joe and Dana arrived after us; as a result of Joe locking his keys in the car)! After three hours of sleep we were up and ready for golf on Saturday morning. We went to St Germain golf course which is where Kevin and I went the day after he proposed so it is always exciting to go back. Afterwards we went to the 19th Hole for beer and chili and spent the evening at the lake house. Sunday Kevin and I went golfing again and headed to Scott’s parent’s rental for a Labor Day gathering. Monday we spent in the car but instead of doing the driving I read my Nook and slept while Kevin made the drive!
