Family Vacation

Kevin, John, Murphy and I headed to my parents cabin last weekend for a family vacation. We had perfect fall weather and such a wonderful weekend! We got up Friday afternoon. After unpacking the car and letting Murphy swim we headed to Skyview for a fish fry. On our way out John found the checkers board and "played" a game.  Saturday Boulder Junction was hosting the 16th annual Harvest Fest. Every thirty minutes they had a different event for the children. We participated in one event, paper plate pumpkin making and then spent the rest of the time walking the streets and enjoying the warmish fall air. When we got back to the cabin we all took naps. We spent the rest of the day outside playing with a bon fire in the background. Kevin made a great dinner Saturday night as well as Sunday morning before we headed home.
