Growing Up with Opinions

This morning John had a strong opinion of what he would be wearing on his feet. Usually I just get him dressed, stick on his shoes and off we go. Today however John decided that he was selecting his shoes. He opened his bottom drawer, went through a few options and then selected an adidas for his right foot and a stride rite for his left. He was so proud of himself and so am I. I love that he is showing what he likes especially since I am not sure I would have picked that combination. ;)
