We have been so blessed with visitors since John was born. My parents came the evening we came home from the hospital and were ready to help, spoil and care for all three of us. We spent time at home catching up, going for walks and shopping while the boys went golfing (John picked shopping over golf!).
On Friday Joe flew up to meet John. It was really nice having my brother in town as well as my parents. We had a great time together. There was more golfing and shopping as well as grilling and relaxing. Murphy did wonderful with Mom, Dad and Joe and was given a lot of attention from my mom; thank you!
It was wonderful to spend my first Mother's Day with my Mom as well as everyone else. Dad made everyone a gourmet breakfast before they had to head to Denver to fly out. Thank you for the meals, clothes, conversations and support. We are fortunate that you were all able to come meet John.
I was sad to see everyone leave but shortly after they left Jackie, Kevin's sister came! It was fun spending time with Jackie and having her meet John! We had a great time relaxing at home, walking and catching up. We also FaceTimed with John's Grandma and Grandpa; it was nice that they got to see him as well. Jackie thank you for all your help around the house and with Murphy. It was awesome spending time with you!
I dropped Jackie off at the airport on Wednesday and was bummed when she left but was excited to see Michelle on Friday. We had a great time and Michelle spoiled us all weekend! We walked around Old Town, got pedicures and enjoyed some meals out. Michelle thank you for making the trip to visit, for spoiling us and for the pedicures!
Kevin and I are on are own until this weekend when Joe, Jenna and Charlotte come. I am excited to see the Kroner's and have John meet his cousin! We are looking forward to more visitors.
And that's what family is for... we love and support one another and do what we can when we can! Jackie I love how John is looking at you! Joe you're a natural! "Watch the head... watch the transfer"!!!!! Thanks for the laughs and tips! Michelle every little sister needs their big sister! Sounds like you guys had tons of fun! John is a lucky boy!
