Kevin had a rare Sunday off of work so after a breakfast of donuts and coffee/juice we headed over to Eugster's Farm for Lambing Days. Euster's Farm is open up to the public on the weekends in April to meet and hold the baby animals before it reopens in midJune for the season. We had such a wonderful time on the farm!
Meeting the baby goats:
At each barn John asked to say hello to each of the mama animals!
We then met one month old bunnies, ducklings, goslings, piglets and chicks.
We took a break from the animals to ride the tricycles, play in the sand, "drive" the tractors and have a snack.
Next we met the five kittens and mama Marsha in the kitten palace:
John eagerly milked a fake cow:
We headed over by the adult pigs, chickens, turkeys ducks, peacocks and rabbits. How cute are the three little (though these pigs were anything but little!) pig homes!?
One of the kind workers chased the rabbit down so John could meet him.
Heading home after one of my favorite Madison mornings!
Oh what a fun day. John sure loves animals. XO
