Pewaukee Stay-cation

John, Murphy and I spent last week at Kevin's parents house while the interior of our home was being painted. We had a busy week starting with our arrival Monday morning. We started our trip with lunch at the new Whole Foods with Jeanne. Monday night John (aka Papa not my John!) made dinner and then it was off to bed for John and me. John is still in a stage of asking to snuggle with me at each bedtime and while I know it will add a complex layer when baby comes I love having a few extra minutes each night with him. 

The days are starting to blur together, (thank you pregnancy brain) but I believe Tuesday Jeanne, John and I met Jenna and the kids for lunch at Chick-Fil-A and took Charlotte to gymnastics in the evening. Otherwise we ran to a few stores, including Nordstrom, Barnes and Noble and Target and then took Charlotte to gymnastics. Wednesday John stayed at Nana and Papa's house while I spent the evening at my Grandpas with a few cousins, Uncles and Aunt Sharon. It was really nice visiting with everyone. 

Thursday John and I met Jenna and the kids at the zoo. We had a great time seeing the animals and visiting. Thursday night John had a meeting so Jeanne, John and I had dinner at Noodles and Company. 

Friday John and I said our goodbyes and headed to the airport to pick up my mom and dad who were coming into town for my Uncle's wife's funeral. While the circumstances were unfortunate it was nice to see them along with Michelle and Theo.
